Search Engine Marketing (SEM), as the name suggests, is the promotion of websites through Search Engines (Google, Yahoo, Bing etc.) using organic Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) techniques and paid search, otherwise known as PPC (Pay-Per-Click) of CPC (Cost-Per-Click).
Identicom has been practising the ‘dark art’ of SEO since the 1990s, when all it took was the addition of a few keywords to a webpage’s Meta Keywords tag for it to magically appear in the search results.
